Historia est magistra vitae!
History is the teacher of life, said the ancient Romans. Yet we are often told that educational content such as history, literature and art is not practically useful knowledge and that it should be reduced or even removed from the school curriculum.
What is your opinion on that?

If you had to explain it to a child, what would you say about why we should learn history and how it can benefit us? Or maybe you have a different opinion.
